Hello everyone! With London being a few days away, I wanted to write my current top 2 decks for the event! Both of the decks are ones that if I end up playing them, I would be confident facing most matchups and each of them still have strategies to handle their poor matchups. In a brand new format it is key to have a flexible gameplan with powerful cards that can beat any random strategy that shows up. This means that decks that fold to certain cards like Lugia VSTAR are not great choices even though they beat some of the best decks, it has no chance of handling certain matchups. Usually I do a top 3 decks but I do not believe there is a top 3 for this event. A majority of the decks have not impressed me enough to actually believe that they are a safe choice for this event. Both of the decks I chose for this article are safe and well tested. Arceus VSTAR Giratina VSTAR (With Aerodactyl VSTAR) barely missed the cut. The consistency of the deck is not high enough in its current iteration. I have it in to feel confident recommending it. The deck will likely place one player high in the standings but that is true for every deck with a large number of players playing it. Now to go into the decks.
